John Crossman is one of the most well-known and respected retail real estate minds in the country. John most recently led a commercial real estate company, where over his 13 years at the firm he led the financial performance, marketing, and business development initiatives for this privately held organization with 70 employees in offices across the Southeast, representing over 350 shopping centers in eight states with 28M square feet under lease or management.

John is an active speaker and writer on a national scale, and he has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Shopping Centers Today, Shopping Center Business and CBS News Radio.

John is passionate about diversity and education, and he serves as an executive board member for both the Florida State University Center for Real Estate Education and the University of Florida Bergstrom Center for Real Estate.

John has held numerous leadership positions with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 1997, and he is Past President of the Central Florida chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

John serves the community through active participation in numerous organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida, March of Dimes, American Diabetes Association, and Central Care Mission.

John earned his Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from Florida State University and was named an Honorary Alumnus by the University of Florida.
